Ingredients
🔸️1&1/4 cup gram flour (besan)
🔸️1.5 cup ghee
🔸️Baking soda
🔸️3/4 tsp green cardamom
🔸️1/4 tsp orange food color
🔸️1.5 cups sugar
🔸️1 cup water
🔸️Crushed nuts
Procedure-
🔸️Mix gram flour, baking soda and food colour well. Add water lil by lil till there are no lumps left.
🔸️ Heat ghee in another deep frying pan and add this mixture through a perforated ladle. Cook them on a low flame and once it's fried, place it on tissue paper to soak the excess ghee. Do not let it burn or turn brown, it'll affect the flavour.
🔸️ Boil water in a pan and and sugar till it melts completely. Add cardamom and stir well.
🔸️Now add the boondis and keep cooking till it absorbs all the water-sugar and let it cool.
🔸️ Cover your hands with ghee and start making small balls.
🔸️ Serve these with crushed nuts on top. Your motichur laddo is ready.
